What’s Happening?

Make your own cloth! Learn to read weaving drafts, dress a loom, weave multiple patterns on the same setup. Students will weave a sampler of patterns, or may choose to make their samples as mug rugs. This class is about process, not a specific product.
You may bring your own loom; contact instructor prior to class to make sure it is suitable. (Email hello@arrowcreative.org)
Class will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm both days. There will be a 1 hour lunch break each day. Feel free to pack a lunch!
All supplies and materials are included.
Tuition: $240 , Materials $20

About the Instructor

Angela is a fiber artist who specializes in weaving, spinning, and knitting. She has an MFA in computer art from Memphis College of Art and a Master Spinner Certificate from Olds College, Alberta. Angela has taught weaving in Memphis beginning in 2005, and regionally since 2007. She is the project editor for Handwoven, Little Looms, Piecework, and Spin Off magazines.
