Winter Summer Spring Fall Nonprofit Events Yoga

What’s Happening?

Join us for Yoga at the Forest, Sunday mornings from 8:15-9:00 a.m. Enjoy a gentle Hatha-style yoga class surrounded by the beauty of the Forest.

Yoga will take place outside on Dennis Plaza when the weather allows. During the colder months, it will be moved inside into the Forest Room.

Classes will include breathwork, gentle postures, and final relaxation. Bring your own mat, water, and any personal items that might be useful.

Masks are required to enter the Nature Center and are recommended for socializing before and after class. Please respect the six-foot recommended spacing between mats.

Class size is limited to 20 participants. Pre-registration is required.

This program is free for members and $20 for non-members.

More about Fontenelle Forest
Founded in 1913, Fontenelle Forest is one of Nebraska's oldest conservation organizations and one of the largest private nature centers in the nation. This federally designated 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity is a National Natural Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. Fontenelle Forest owns and manages two nature centers: Fontenelle Forest Nature Center in Bellevue and Neale Woods in Omaha. The properties encompass over 2,100 acres of forest, prairie and wetlands along the Missouri River in the geographically significant Loess Hills. The mission of Fontenelle Forest is to provide a place where people can experience and enjoy the quiet wild of nature. We want to inspire current and future generations to care for the natural world.
