What’s Happening?

From the Organizer, the Haymarket:

Due to the ongoing outbreak of COVID-19 the market's opening date has been delayed to the 16th of May. We ask that customers maintain a 6 foot distance, try to shop alone, and avoid gathering in any one area.

The CDC continues to recommend wearing a cloth mask while in public. 

Market dates may be subject to change depending on the spread of the virus. Watch this page or our Facebook for updates.

Customers may peruse the Market and ask vendors to set aside merchandise during set up. No purchases are allowed until Market whistle blows, at 8:00 am.

Market runs from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, rain or shine.

Performances at Iron Horse Park will not take place at this year's market. 

Standard Market Fare:

Baked goods and other yummy stuff: muffins, kolaches, croissants, pies, breads, cookies, cakes, baklava, homemade root beer, egg rolls, crab rangoons, wood fired pizza, pulled pork, oatmeal, coffee, teas, tacos, burritos,hot sauces, seasoning mixes, soup/baked good mixes, kettle corn, jams, breakfast sandwiches, wine and more!

Innovative Arts & Crafts:

Jewelry, glassware, Americana furniture, primitives artwork, dried flowers, decorated baskets, hand sewn items, bird houses, blankets, baby wear, tie dyed apparel, candles, door art, value added items, i.e. lamps, cabinets, utility furniture, yard art, henna art, face painting, stepping stones, mail boxes, wind chimes, Shades the Clown’s personal balloon art, dried flower arrangements, wreathes, welded iron art work, stuffed animals, aprons, bibs, rocking chairs, doggie jewelry/treats and collars, soaps, lotion.

  • Animals, no matter how cute or well behaved, unless they are service animals for disabled persons.

  • Posters, placards, stickers, balloons or promotional materials.

  • Haymarket Farmers’ Market organizers may refuse entry or expel any person, as needed, to maintain a positive and safe event for everyone.
