Powerful Tools for Caregivers

What’s Happening?

Join us for a 6-week education series that helps care partners THRIVE, not just survive, while caregiving. Participants will learn techniques including ways to reduce stress, improve communication, and understand their emotions.

We will be offering this class VIRTUALLY so you must have video connection capabilities. Technical assistance will be provided. If you're caring for a loved one, this is a great opportunity to learn how to take care of YOU!

Please email Chantel@AlzheimersProject.org or call (850) 386-2778 to sign up. Registration is required to attend as you will receive class materials to participate. The class will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 10am-11:30am for six weeks. We look forward to meeting you on March 2nd, 2022!

About the Event Host
Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. (AP) exists to provide comfort, support, and assistance to persons with memory disorders and their caregivers in the Big Bend area. Our goal is to enable caregivers to sustain a decent quality life as they care for their loved one, and to provide a comfortable, dignified existence for people living with dementia. In many cases, our support helps caregivers keep their loved ones in the comfort of their own home. Our Respite Programs help caregivers stay healthy while our Support Groups help them connect with other caregivers. We also deliver professional knowledge through seminars, training classes and peer support groups. All our services are provided at no cost to participants, however, donations are greatly appreciated.
