What’s Happening?

January is almost in the rear view so let's tap some new and returning favorites from Burial Beer Co.

On tap, available in flights, draft pours and limited crowler/growlers to go:

-Amendment of Carnivorous Habits Foudre-Aged Heirloom Pilsner (Collaboration with The Rare Barrel)
All from North Carolina’s Epiphany Craft Malt, Carolina Gold rice and Tuxepeño corn mix with modern pilsner malts to provide an earthy and bready malt base that German grown Hersbrucker and Grungiest hops accentuate with limey and herbal highlights. Expect an experience of ancient grain sourdough, key lime zest, and transcontinental explorations towards paradise. 5.2% ABV

-I Used To Double India Pale Ale (Collaboration with Other Half Brewing)
A deranged psychobabble murmured with the likes of Other Half Brewing. Mashed with oats, and whirlpooled with the Heavy Resin treatment of Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. Double dry-hopped with all the hops we have squeezed into our memoirs over the years, led by Citra, Motueka, Sabro, Cashmere, El Dorado, Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, Vic Secret and Centennial, before a dusting of Mosaic Cryo. 8.5% ABV

-Skillet Donut Stout. Our infamous breakfast stout is made from a blend of nine barley malts, a healthy scoop of oats, milk and molasses sugars, and our favorite blend of freshly roasted Counter Culture Coffee beans. Welcome the day with iced caramel mocha latte, chocolate-covered pecans, and fig cake with coffee ice cream. Or hell, just drink your coffee stout the way it was intended. 8% ABV

-Prophetmaker Dry-Hopped Pale Ale. This project began a year ago, as a way to make a house ale that features the best of our hop selection each year and generates the yeast for our prized imperial stout program. It was originally designed with Citra, Simcoe and Nelson but due to running out of those hops we had to mess around with different combos in the past year. This is our first exposition of our 2021 select hops and the intended depiction of this beer going ahead. As always, made with Barley and Oats and fermented with West Coast yeast. This time we double dry-hopped with hand-selected Citra, Nelson and Simcoe. 5.3% ABV
