THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!

This is what the event owner said:

Fontenelle Forest will be closed to the public starting on Monday, March 16th, through March 31. All programs and events are canceled. This decision was made following yesterday’s press conference with local government and health agencies, where Governor Pete Ricketts announced that a first community-acquired case of COVID-19 had been established and recommendations were made to limit large public events, programs and gatherings. If you or your organization were registered for a program or event, we will contact you directly and provide a refund.

More about Fontenelle Forest
Founded in 1913, Fontenelle Forest is one of Nebraska's oldest conservation organizations and one of the largest private nature centers in the nation. This federally designated 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity is a National Natural Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. Fontenelle Forest owns and manages two nature centers: Fontenelle Forest Nature Center in Bellevue and Neale Woods in Omaha. The properties encompass over 2,100 acres of forest, prairie and wetlands along the Missouri River in the geographically significant Loess Hills. The mission of Fontenelle Forest is to provide a place where people can experience and enjoy the quiet wild of nature. We want to inspire current and future generations to care for the natural world.
