What’s Happening?

Code Break the Code and Make New Friends(hip Bracelets)
Tuesday, December 2 | 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Neill-Cochran House Museum
2310 San Gabriel Street, Austin TX

Put the craft back in spycraft at this friendship bracelet making party at the Neill-Cochran House Museum. Sip wine or a cocktail as we make a beaded accessory that hides a secret message only you and your new friends can decipher.

From American Revolutionary Molly Rinker to behind-the-lines British spy Phyllis Latour, the U.S. and her allies have a history of employing the fairer sex in the business of espionage. As we prepare to celebrate America’s 250th birthday it’s a great time to look back at some of the unsung heroes (and villains) from our past. This casual weeknight get-together will include a brief presentation about the history of women spies. Drinks are included, as well as all the materials you need to make a take-home bracelet with a covert morse code embedded within.

This event includes white wine and cocktails for attendees 21 and over.

Tickets: $40 General | $25 NCHM Member
All proceeds support the Neill-Cochran House Museum.

Learn more and get tickets at: www.nchmuseum.org/nchm-events/code-bracelets

Parking:
Free parking is available behind the Museum accessible from 23d Street between San Gabriel Street and Leon Street.
