Terrible Hearts with Token Hearts and Compartmentalizationalists

Rock Alternative Indie

What’s Happening?

TERRIBLE HEARTS

Atlanta garage rock outfit Terrible Hearts craft catchy, lo-fi garage pop with a punch.

TOKEN HEARTS

Token Hearts is a genre-blending ATL supergroup led by Patrick O’Connor (The Woggles), with Buffi Aguero, Clay Reed, Sam Leyja (Subsonics), and Will Fratesi (Cat Power, Smoke, W8ing4UFOs). Their debut LP channels Lee Hazlewood, Spacemen 3, Link Wray & the Kinks—a catchy, gritty mix of garage, pop & psychedelia that's both fresh and nostalgic.

Compartmentalizationalists

Compartmentalizationalists formed in 2010 to perform guitar compositions written by Atlanta-based composer Jeffrey Bützer and UK guitarist Claire Lodge.

The project was inspired by Italian films scores and experimental jazzbos such as Sonny Sharrock and Marc Ribot, but since they favor reverb, they are basically a surf band.
