Living History Weekend Highlight Tours

What’s Happening?

Join VMHC staff for a guided, 1 hour-long highlight tour of the key features of the living history takeover of the museum. 

The tour includes: 

- Visit the Museum of the American Revolution’s First Oval Office Project, a recreated Revolutionary War encampment, including handsewn, full-scale replicas of General George Washington's mobile headquarters while on campaign. 
- Visit the camp of a British military unit on campaign in Virginia. 
- Visit the VMHC research library to view a special display of original manuscripts and maps related to the military experience of the American Revolution.
- Watch a demonstration of 18th century battlefield tactics, including a musket firing demonstration. 

Daily Museum Admission is included in this ticket. After the tour, you will have access to all museum galleries and living history displays and demonstrations.
