Join us for a panel discussion about hip hop and its impact in Omaha. The panel will include musician and rapper Marcey Yates, rapper Conny Franko and rapper Tylynn Music with DJ Kethro as the moderator. 

Marcey Yates is a hip hop recording artist/producer and the director/founder of the creative hub, The Culxr House. Culxr House was founded in 2018 as a safe space for artists, creatives, activists, and entrepreneurs to have a place to work and obtain resources and information. 


Brenton Gomez also known as Conny Franko loves language and the people who spend their life using it as art. He has released five full length albums between his solo efforts and his group, M34N STR33T. 


Tylynn is an American rapper/singer/songwriter with a wide range of musical versatility from hip-hop, R&B to pop and soul. Tylynn’s song “Gotta Go Up” was placed on Tyler Perry’s show, Sistas on the BET network in 2021, as well as an Adidas UK Soccer commercial. “Gotta Go Up” has also been nominated for a Production Music Association (PMA) award for “Hip Hop Track of the Year.” 


Keith Rodger is a DJ, recording engineer and producer under the alias Kethro. In 2011, he became known for his highly energetic and sonically diverse DJ sets during his 5-year residency at the House of Loom. In 2014, he started touring as an engineer and musician with The Faint, Tuxedo, Icky Blossoms, and Conny Franko. In 2016, he joined Make Believe Studios working on critically acclaimed albums with Jidenna, Jay Prince, Logan Richardson, and Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers.

This multidisciplinary arts and social justice series amplifies artists in diverse cultures. In the 21/22 Season we're amplifying Black and Latinx voices by partnering with local and national touring artists to offer free community events every month through June 2022.
