Easter Season

Christianity Easter

What’s Happening?

Looking for a place to worship this Easter season? Richmond's First Baptist Church is a place where everyone is welcome. Join us for one or all of our events this month:

• Palm Sunday – April 13
8:45 a.m. in the Chapel & 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary

• Neighborhood Egg Hunt – April 13 | 2 p.m. | Monument Ave. Courtyard

• Stations of the Cross (April 14 – April 19)
Monday morning – Saturday morning of holy week visit the RFBC Belltower Courtyard to walk the stations of the cross. A long held tradition of the Church, this is a meditative prayer experience to journey with Jesus through his final days.

• Maundy Thursday – April 17
Join us for dinner at 5 p.m. and at 6 p.m. in the Sanctuary for a Tenebrae service. The Tenebrae service is a time of reflection on the story of Jesus’ suffering and death, marked by the gradual extinguishing of candles until the church is in darkness.

• Easter Sunday – April 20, 8:45 a.m. Chapel & 11 a.m. Sanctuary worship
Join us as we joyfully celebrate Easter Sunday!
